The Makeup Light Quick Release

A simple must have accessory that will speed up your TML lighting system experience.

The Quick Release set by The Makeup Light is an accessory that enables fast and secure connection of the key light panel to any of its mounting devices. For example, with the quick release, connecting a key light to a gooseneck will always be as easy as just sliding and locking them together. There’s no more lining-up a screw and spinning the key light ‘round and ‘round to make the connection. With a quick release installed at each connecting point, it becomes possible to streamline the entire set-up and take-down experience of the key light system.

In addition, the quick release equally speeds up connections of the key light panel to the suction mount, the clamp mount, and can even be used to connect the bottom of the gooseneck to a light stand.

• A single quick release set contains: the (red) latch piece, a companion piece, a screw, and an allen wrench (see the parts image).  The latch piece is attached to your key light panel (where you used to screw in the gooseneck) using the conical-shaped screw. Then the companion piece is screwed onto the top of the gooseneck. Once these parts are connected to your key light panel and gooseneck, you never have to do this again!

  To connect your key light panel and gooseneck, you simply slide the quick release together and throw the red latch to lock them in place.
