Description
The Dark Flesh Tone palette extends the range of flesh tones by building on the original palette. Combined with FX and light tones, it covers all skin shades from light to dark.
Bamboo 1 and 2 are warmer yellow tones compared to Lao 1 and 2 from the original palette, offering more variation. Warm base tones also include Chocolate, Espresso 1 and 2, and Midnight Brown—the darkest. Adjusters like Burnt Sienna, Golden Ochre, and Red Oxide create a wide array of colors. Midnight Brown mixed with the FX Black achieves deep ebony tones without grayness, while blending it with Bamboo 1 yields taupe shades. Coral Blue cools tones subtly, unlike the original blue hues.
These colors are also ideal for defining hairlines, filling scalp patches, and covering beard shadows. Use Skin Illustrator Activator, Slow Activator, or 99% alcohol to activate; avoid 70% alcohol, MEK, acetone, or water.
